30+
Years in Healthcare
When I was turning 65 and getting ready to join Medicare, I expected it to be easy to figure out my options and find my best plan. Boy was I in for a shock!

Instead of clear and concise explanations of my Medicare options and the differences in access, benefits and cost between the options, I found bits and pieces of confusing information all over the place.

Instead of unbiased, data-driven solutions to compare plans, I was inundated with sales pitches – mail, e-mails, you name it – all trying to sell the best plan for them.

When I tried to compare plans for myself, I found that there was no place to get a comparison of all the plans and the costs. So, after all the time and effort of figuring out Medicare and looking at plans, I still wasn’t sure that I had the best plan for me.

For over 30 years, I held a variety of positions in the U.S. healthcare industry. I even ran Medicare plan for a while. So I was likely as knowledgeable as just about anyone when I started to look for my best Medicare option. If it was this painful for me, what must it be like for the great majority of the people who were coming into this cold?

There had to be a better way, and PairMe was born.
